The Wales Ring Road, also known as the Cardiff Peripheral Distributor Road (PDR), is a dual-carriageway road that encircles the city of Cardiff in Wales. It is approximately 35 miles (56 kilometers) in length and serves as a major transport artery for the city, connecting many of its major suburbs and providing a route for through traffic. The road is designated as the A4232 and is made up of several sections, including the Eastern Bay Link Road, the Central Link, and the Western Link. The Wales Ring Road provides important access to the M4 motorway, which runs east to west across southern Wales.
